Russian Revelry: New Year’s Eve and an Evening with Anna Pasternak

We’ve got a rather Russian looking December coming up! To start the month, Anna Pasternak will be in conversation at Cheltenham Waterstones and to see in the New Year we will be celebrating with a Russian Party at No. 131. It’s one of many themed New Year’s Eve Parties that we are hosting in our Cotswolds restaurants – visit our What’s On page for more info and to buy tickets.

You may have read our interview with Anna Pasternak in The Lucky Onion Journal in October. We spoke to the great niece of the Nobel Prize winning novelist Boris Pasternak and regular guest at No. 131, about her latest book ‘Lara’.

Following on from our in depth interview we’re excited to announce that Anna will be discussing ‘Lara’, the untold love story that inspired Doctor Zhivago, in Cheltenham Waterstones on Thursday 1st December at 7pm.

Described as ‘an irresistible account of joy, suffering and passion’ by the Financial Times you’ll be able to listen to Anna talk about her experience researching and writing about her family and how in her eyes she has ‘rewritten an ancestral wrong’.

Tickets £3 including refreshments. Details below.
