The Wild Duck

Hotfoot it to our newly-refurbished private dining room at Cotswold inn, The Wild Duck. Our stylish Grouse Room can seat up to 14 guests– or hire out the inn as a whole. The décor is traditional and relaxed, a round stripped-back oak table and walls inspired by 16th century panelling will make you feel warm and cosy. Drink in hand, sit in front of the large fireplace, which crackles with a roaring log fire. The party menu ticks all the boxes, too – from the freshest seafood (Brixham Plaice with Brown Shrimps) to the best of British meat (Gloucester Old Spot Pork Chop with Mustard Green Beans & Roasted Sweet Potatoes) and for the final flourish, our Honeycomb Pannacotta with Candied Orange – heaven on a plate.

The Wheatsheaf Inn

Pick from two private dining rooms at our honey-coloured Wheatsheaf Inn in the lovely market town of Northleach. The private room seats 20 and is ideal for any occasion from hanging out with friends to a celebratory family dinner or a business meeting. Tuck into a true feast with large sharing pies (the game ones are to die for) and whole cuts of meat served family-style at the table. For smaller gatherings, choose our Poker Room which holds up to six at a round table. Splash out and stay the night afterwards in one of our 14 beautiful bedrooms with Hypnos beds, power showers and heavenly-smelling, Bramley. We have beautiful tiered cottage gardens, too, so be the most organised of your friends and book ahead for a summer celebration.

Whether it’s for a spot of racing, seasonal celebration or birthday party– our beautiful Georgian townhouse, No. 131, in the heart of Cheltenham boasts four private rooms which accommodate from 4 to 40 guests. Anything can be arranged – from DJs to banquets. The rooms can be used for work meetings and conferences too, with all the facilities you could possibly want. The menu is overseen by our head chef, Alan Gleeson, with food locally sourced – don’t miss our Grilled Cotswold White ‘Flat Iron’ Chicken with Shitake Mushrooms, Smoked Bacon & Glazed Silverskin Onions or 28 days dry-aged 6 oz Hereford Flat Iron Steak with French Fries, Watercress, Garlic & Thyme. If you want to make a night of it, we have 11 stunningly-designed bedrooms – choose between a grand Georgian bedroom overlooking the gardens of Cheltenham or curl up in a cosy hideaway tucked away in the eaves.
